Wayward Act (P:1, R:7)
Has a great recent form, has placed no lower than 2nd in their previous 5 races and won their last 2 races. They have placed top 3 in all 11 of their starts, this is a horse you cannot ignore. Has a huge chance of placing or winning.
Danon Figo (P:2, R:3) - CLOSE PREDICTION
Out of 11 starts, they've placed top 3 in 9 of them. Out of their last 5 starts, they've placed 1st in 4 of them, lowest being 3rd place in their last 5 starts. Often runs 1400m and does well, has competitive times. With a recent form like this, they have a big chance of placing or winning.
Emperor Wakea (P:3, R:6)
Out of 14 starts, they've placed top 3 in 12 of them, the lowest they've placed is 5th. Previous winner of the 2024 Negishi Stakes and has a good recent form. Has G1 racing experience (coming 5th in the 2025 February Stakes). Has good chance of placing or even winning.
In Your Palace (P:4, R:9)
Out of 18 starts, they've placed top 3 in 12 races. Out of their last 5 races, they were only out of the top 3 once, and that was a 4th place finish. They've also won their last 2 races. Has a good pedigree that includes horses like Deep Impact and Sunday Silence. Has a good chance of placing or even winning.
Saint Honore (P:5, R:10)
Out of 14 starts, they've placed top 3 in 11 races, lowest they've placed is 7th. Has a good recent form with 2 victories in their last 5 races, last placed 3rd in the 2025 JBC Classic. This will be their first time running 1400m, usually racing up in distance. Has Sunday Silence in pedigree. Has a good chance of placing or winning.
Lord Fons (P:6, R:1)
Out of 18 starts, they've placed top 3 in 12 of them. Has a decent recent form, placing in the top 2 twice and no lower than 5th place in their last 5 races. Came second in the 2025 Negishi Stakes, which could be an advantage here. Has a nice chance of placing if the cards are played right.
Neo Tokio (P:7, R:15)
Out of 29 starts, they've placed top 3 in 20 of them, has an amazing recent form, placing no lower than 2nd in their previous 5 races, and placing 1st twice in the previous 5 races. A nice pedigree that includes horses like Kizuna, Deep Impact, and Sunday Silence. Has a good chance of placing or winning if they can keep up with the others and better their times.
Matenro Command (P:8, R:11)
Out of 11 starts, they've placed top 3 in 8 of them. Has a decent recent form which includes 2nd place placements in 3 out of the 5 previous starts, a win, and a 10th place placement. Has a nice pedigree that includes horses like King Halo and Grass Wonder. They placed 10th in their last G3 graded race, which puts into question how they may perform here. Has a small chance of placing.
Fee Blanche (P:9, R:12)
Has a decent recent form with 2 wins and a 2nd place placement in the last 5 races. Being ridden by top jockey, Christophe Lemaire, which could better the odds. Has a decent pedigree which includes horses like Deep Impact and Sunday Silence. Has a small chance of placing, but Christophe Lemaire may better those odds and give us a surprise.
Omega Guiness (P:10, R:4)
They've placed top 3 in 9 of 15 starts, doesn't have the best recent form but has 1 win in their last 5 starts. Has a small outside chance of placing.
Ma Puce (P:11, R:5)
This is a turf horse, so their ability on dirt will be tested this race. Doesn't have a good recent form, but has placed 1st once in their last 5 races. They have ran a bunch of graded races, both G3 and G1, placing decently in G3 races but not so well in G1 races. Their inconsistent form could be helped via a switch from turf to dirt, so this race may benefit this horse if things work out right. It's hard to say if there's a chance of placing, this is one to watch.
Chikappa (P:12, R:8)
Out of 20 starts, they've placed top 3 in 12 of them. Doesn't have the best recent form, but has placed 2nd in one of their last 5 starts. Has a decent pedigree that includes horses like Deep Impact and Sunday Silence. Only placed in top 3 once in 2025, doesn't have much of a chance of placing.
Alpha Mom (P:13, R:13) - CORRECT PREDICTION
Doesn't have a good recent form and has a decent pedigree that includes horses like Fuji Kiseki and Sunday Silence. Despite their poor recent form, they often have one of the top 3 best L3F times which could give them an outide chance. Doesn't have a chance of placing.
Battle Cry (P:14, R:2)
Doesn't have a good recent form, placing 10th or below in their last 4 races. Has a nice pedigree that includes horses like Fuji Kiseki and Sunday Silence. Despite their poor form, they have decent times in 1400m races, so that may give them an outside chance of placing. Doesn't have a chance of placing, 1400m times may prove otherwise.
Meisho Kuzusa (P:15, R:14) - CLOSE PREDICTION
Doesn't have a good recent form, placing 7th or below in their last 5 races. Is getting up there in age at 9 years old. Despite their poor recent form, their most recent dirt 1400m race has a decent time that could contend with other top horses in this race. Out of 42 starts, they've only produced 14 top 3 places. Doesn't have a chance of placing, but could be an interesting watch.
Keiai Dorie (P:16, R:16) - CORRECT PREDICTION
Hasn't raced since September 2024, bringing their current form into question. Out of 27 starts, they've placed in the top 3 18 times. They're getting up there in age at 9 years old. Hard to say but could be an interesting watch.
